The Plectrum Duo are Cody Anderson and Morris Acevedo playing classic (pre electric) Jazz Guitar Duets from the 1930s. Most of the Plectrum Duo’s repertoire comes from original sheet music from the 1930′s.  The music is from an era before the invention of the electric guitar. There are influences of Jazz, Ragtime, Classical and Blues in the Duo’s songs.

Morris and Cody are guitarists living in Sonoma, Co California. In addition to performing classic Jazz, both musicians play a variety of modern Jazz and Rock styles with groups in and around the San Francisco Bay Area.

Since their self titled debut album release in 2004, Sebastopol’s Sol Horizon has blossomed, becoming one of the most popular and forward thinking bands of its genre. Sol Horizon

Maria Mandrussow and Katherine Paige formed the duo, Woven Light in 2009, when a girl from the city and a girl from the country came together and created a shocking harmonic sound.

Their lyrically driven pieces combine unique &  contrasting vocal harmonies with acoustic guitars, giving rise to a soulful organic sound which reaches a broad mix of audiences. They draw inspiration from a wide range of genres, from Indie Folk and Country, to Rock, Classical and Ambient. These women bring their open minds and passionate hearts with them to every performance and will charm you on and off the stage.

We’re doing it again! We had such a good turnout in August, that we are doing the LoCoco – D’Argenzio dinner again.

Join LoCoco’s Cucina Rustica and D’Argenzio Winery for a night of food, wine and music at Summer Nights | Railroad Square on Friday, September 2nd beginning at 7 PM sharp.

LoCocco will be providing a full dinner of Pasta Rigatoni, Garlic Bread and Salad and D’Argenzio Winery will provide two glasses of either Zinfandel, Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Noir.

Please join us for our first night time dinner. Seating will be outdoors in front of LoCoco’s Cucina Rustica under the summer sun. Come early and wonder through booths of local arts and crafts. Or sit and enjoy music on either of our two stages.

Dgiin has gone through many phases since their begining in 2001 when brother/sister duo Gabe and Mimi started the band, “We’ve been lucky enough to have played with some very talented musicians over the years”.

Recently Vocalist Mimi and Percussionist/Drummer Ricky have teamed back up with the band after spending sometime away on the East Coast. Dgiin now continues with a stronger rhythm section, and tighter harmonies.

Dgiin also welcomed new members Magali Sanscartier, a wild Quebecoise ripping it up on the violin, Jomial “Bass commander”Jones on bass and James Foster from the legendary northbay group Free Peoples, filling in on drums.

Dgiin is known around Sonoma County as a band with a unique style encompassing various cultures and influences and songs sung mainly in French. The band can best be described as French-Gypsy-Funk with a twist.

The Flamenco-Django-esque band puts on one memorable show accessible to all types of tastes and ages. Their energetic performances draw a lively crowd that can dance all night.

The Easy Leaves formed north of the Golden Gate in 2008 when songwriters Kevin Carducci and Sage Fifield, both influenced by gospel skeptics, flailing rockers, and country drunks, combined tastes and began polishing up originals. Their songs meander from grassland stomps to personal spirituals, from minor swings to honky-tonk grinds. These lyric driven pieces are brought to motion with percussive guitar/bass interplay and dynamic vocal harmony. While their styles lean toward traditional Americana, The Easy Leaves constantly dabble with genre, always hoping to smear the lines and make the blends seamless.

Creating serenity comes easy to John Pita. The former frontman of the John Pita Band, has ventured off into a new realm of music that is most fitting to him. His collaboration of acoustic jazz, blues and pop, make for a style that is both soothing to the ear as well as the soul.

John’s soon to be realesed EP entitled “Color My World,” has a more mature sound both melodically and lyrically. His approach in constructing each song was to be aggresive with the message and emotion he desired to get across.

John Pita

The brilliant colors of the glass, catching and reflecting the light make each bead a little work of art. Jennifer Girvin uses the ancient art of flame working to craft each bead. Then selects and pairs them with other beads of sterling silver and assorted findings  to create these one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces.

After many years of working with clay, bead making has become a new found passion of this artist. I took my first bead-making class because I wanted to incorporate some glass into my clay work, I never intended for it to take over like it has.

Jennifer loves the challenge of this medium, like clay, the possibilities are endless and exciting.

A destination hideaway for the center of the Russian River Valley and named after the Dutton family’s agricultural heritage of the historical apple growing region, was established in 1995 by Tracy and Joe Dutton.  Dutton Estate Winery produces vineyard-designated Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah and Sauvignon Blanc from the family’s estate vineyards at Dutton Ranch in the Green Valley and Russian River Valley. Collectively with winemaker Terry Adams the wines of Dutton Estate Winery and Sebastopol Vineyards articulate the individualized characteristics of our estate vineyards and the efforts of a devoted winemaker and grape grower.
